For those of you that aren’t aware of EWG, most of us green b-bloggers use the site as a resource for checking out ingredients that we are unsure of, and see how each ingredient fares impacts your health.
EWG’s mission is to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment and the new EWG VERIFIED™ program aims to be the standard in the health and wellness space. The EWG VERIFIED™ mark takes the guesswork out of searching the product aisles (LPN will also help you find the most effective and high quality brands). All of the products that will be carrying this verification will:

This box was jam packed lovely little bits of everything from soap and deodorant to highlighter and lip glosses, but here “are a few of my favourite things” (yes, definitely just wrote that to the tune from The Sound of Music).

Boasting sunflower oil, jojoba, pomegranate and coconut oil, this pretty lip stick is pretty pure. While of course there are some mineral pigments to get this hue, it’s certainly a healthier pick for your body. The one pictured below is “Red Red Wine” and a perfect evening tone.

I am a huge fan of high lighters – I use my RMS Living Luminizer daily; however, I got the chance to try this beauty from the EWG Verified box. It is a great summer highlighter, with the slight golden tint. Loving this for high on my cheek bones and the bridge of my nose.
